Major Winter Storm Slowing, Still Taking Aim at the Northern Plains

A winter storm watch is in effect Sunday afternoon through late Monday night for much of eastern Nebraska, western Iowa and southeast South Dakota.  Cathy Zapotocny is a meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Omaha and says some areas in extreme southeast Nebraska will see some precipitation on Saturday.https://soundcloud.com/wnax-radio/cathy-z-114a

Zapotocny says people need to keep very close tabs on the forecast and change travel plans if necessary

Zapotocny says it is important to keep an eye on the forecast because this system has slowed a bit in the past few days.
