A sweeping tax overhaul bill will be debated on the floor of the Iowa Senate this week, as opponents say it is too much, too soon.
Sponsor, Senator Randy Feenstra of Hull, says the bill would jump start the state’s economy…

The bill would reduce taxes by over one billion dollars annually by cutting corporate and individual income taxes, and eliminated some tax credits.
Feenstra says he has waited for years for the right time to introduce the bill…..

Feenstra says it may be difficult to find bi-partisan support at this point…..

Feenstra says the bill is scheduled for debate on Wednesday.
