The City of Yankton is planning another multi million dollar public infrastructure upgrade, this time at the wastewater treatment plant.
City Manager Amy Leon says they are still working out the details….

The city got a nine-million-dollar grant from the federal Economic Development Agency to help with the repairs and upgrades.
Leon says they are looking at moving around some of the project costs…

Leon says they are already behind schedule….

The plant was damaged by flooding in 2011 and again in 2019 and the grant will help pay for some of those repairs.
