The Yankton City Commission has a major decision to make at their meeting tonight about the wastewater treatment plant upgrades. Whether to spend forty-four million dollars to upgrade the current plant, or to spend about twice that much to build a new plant at a different location.
City Manager Amy Leon says they will recommend the rebuild in place option….

Leon says the quick decision is being driven by the short time availability of state and federal grants…

Mayor Stephanie Moser says they have enough information to make a good decision….

The commission meets tonight (Monday) at 7PM at the CM-TEA building.
