The planning process is well underway for major construction on the McCook Central School building in Salem. Voters in June approved a three point one million dollar bond issue to help finance the project.
Superintendent Dr. Dan Swartos says they are working through the design phase.
Swartos says construction will take place in two parts.
Swartos says they are still deciding on how classroom spaces will be divided up.
The bond issue is only part of the financing for the project, which will total about seven point two million dollars when done.
