South Dakota legislators are facing a long day as they attempt to wrap up the main run of the 2015 session.
Representative Jean Hunhoff of Yankton says they are waiting for a large number of conference committees to wrap up.

Hunhoff says once that work is completed then the budget bill can come to the floor of both houses for debate.
Hunhoff says they have numerous conference committees working out bills.

Hunhoff, a member of the Appropriations Committee, says even some of the major bills are still being negotiated, including state aid to education.

Hunhoff says she expects that the session will last into the evening before they can adjourn. Lawmakers return for one final day on March 30th.
