South Dakota lawmakers are meeting in Pierre this week to hopefully approve new legislative district maps. They have to be redrawn after each ten-year census.
Representative Mike Stevens of Yankton says it’s a fluid situation…
Stevens says he expects legislators to have different ideas on the ideal map….
Stevens says he has looked at the different proposals for his own District 18…..
One map adds a couple of precincts from Turner County to the District, while the other adds precincts from Bon Homme and Hutchinson Counties.
