Long term forecasts don’t seem to indicate much relief to spreading drought conditions across the northern plains.
Aaron Wilson, a climate specialist at Ohio State University led the Central Region monthly update, and says the last half of June will see cooler temperatures….

Wilson says July temperatures will swing back above normal….

Wilson says there are some hints of above normal precipitation mid summer…..

The forecasts into September indicate above normal temperatures, and normal, to below normal precipitation.
