Long range forecasts seem to say that we can expect a mild fall, into winter.
The monthly climate update shows moderate trends over the next three months.
Mark Svoboda is with the Drought Mitigation Center at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and conducted the monthly briefing.
He says most of the country will see above normal temperatures through November…………

Svoboda says it looks like precipitation will be near normal…..

Svoboda says that trend should help improve drought conditions over most of the region……

Svoboda says La Nina conditions are developing, but look to be weak for the next few months.
