Local Governments Start Discussions on Marijuana Regulation

With two marijuana ballot issues being approved this week, the next step will be for the South Dakota legislature to write the rules needed to implement the sale and use of medicinal and recreational marijuana.
The ultimate regulation will fall to local governments. Yankton City Manager Amy Leon says there will need to be a lot of discussions, which they have already started…
