The Little International livestock exposition will be held at South Dakota State University on March 31 and April 1. Dalen Zuidema is this year’s general manager for the show. He says Little I is still one of the largest student run livestock expositions in the country and will start off on Friday with high school judging contests.
SDSU students will also be showing various species of livestock starting Friday with the fitting competition and Saturday features showmanship and a round robin event that night.
Around 150 SDSU students will compete is the showing events which are divided up into a novice and expert division. The evening events start at 5pm at the SDSU Animal Science Arena.
