Lincoln businesswoman and city council member Jane Raybould has filed to run for the US Senate from Nebraska

Raybould seeks to defeat incumbent Republican Deb Fischer

Raybould works as a vice president of B&R Stores, which operates 19 Super Saver and Russ’s Markets grocery stores. She has served on the Lancaster County Commission and currently is a Lincoln city council member.

Fischer is finishing her first term in the Senate.
