The lame duck session of Congress after the November election will mostly do housekeeping in anticipation of the new administration in January.

Troy Larson, Executive Director of the Lewis & Clark Regional Water System, says they don’t expect any changes in their federal funding until next year…..

Larson says they expect to be able to get a share of funding from the rural water fund…..

Larson says an increase in funding is necessary for them to make much progress on the remaining construction…..

The three state water project is about two thirds completed, and will cost over six hundred fifty million dollars when it is done.
