Even with an expected boost in federal funding the year, the Lewis & Clark Regional Water Project will have to stretch out construction in a couple of areas.
Executive Director Troy Larson says there are some big pieces to add…..

The water project expects to get about eighteen million dollars this year, up about three million from last year.

Larson says if that track continues they can get the bigger projects done more quickly…

Larson says that means the end of construction may finally be in sight…

The project provides treated water to towns and cities in South Dakota, Iowa and Minnesota from wells south of Vermillion near the Missouri River.
