The federal budget passed last week by Congress includes more money for water projects under construction. Some of that money should trickle down to the Lewis & Clark Regional Water System. That project has been under construction for over fifteen years, and has struggled with inadequate federal funding.
Executive Director Troy Larson says they should find out how much money they will get early next year……….
Larson says they have a couple of projects laid out and ready to go…..
Larson says they have a list of areas that need the water…..
Larson says they also hope to use any increase in federal funding as leverage for another advance from the Minnesota legislature for projects in that state.
