While construction continues on the Lewis & Clark Regional Water System, future federal funding is needed to keep the project on course.

Executive Director Troy Larson says Congress has set aside money for rural water projects…

Larson says they are looking for the same, or possibly higher funding next year….

Larson says they could connect all their member towns a lot sooner….

Larson says with the lower funding; the project would not be complete until 2030.

The system is about two thirds done.
