The budget signed by President Biden last week includes almost twenty-two million dollars for ongoing construction of the Lewis & Clark Regional Water System.

The project pumps water to twenty member cities and rural water districts in South Dakota, Iowa and Minnesota from well near the Missouri River south of Vermillion.
