Authorities have released more information about the shooting that took place yesterday at a manufacturing plant in Lennox.
Lincoln County Sheriff Dennis Johnson said 45 year old Jon Richter of Lennox was shot and killed in the plant, and 46 year old Kathy Steever of Lennox was shot and injured.
Johnson identified the shooter as 52 year old Jeffrey Dezeeuw of Sioux Falls.
He says Dezeeuw was in the building in the morning, and then returned.

Johnson says the shootings occurred when Dezeeuw returned to the plant.

45 year old Brian Roesler was injured when he confronted Dezeeuw in the building.

Dezeeuw ran from the building, and was later found near a burning semi truck south west of Lennox.
Johnson says they believe the suspect shot himself after setting the truck on fire.

Lincoln County States Attorney Tom Wollman says they had a effective response from law enforcement.

Wollman says the investigation is still active, and will take some time to wrap up.
