South Dakota legislators are in Pierre today (Monday) for the final day of the 2015 session. The main run wrapped up on March 13th.
Governor Dennis Daugaard vetoed three bills, which legislators will consider today. Representative Mike Stevens of Yankton says one bill, SB136, that would change how municipal taxes are charged to rural electric cooperatives, passed with big margins in both houses.
Stevens says the other two bills didn’t get much attention.
Stevens says there is a chance that the House may not have much to do today.
Both chambers gavel in at 10AM.
