Legislators to Question Changes at the University Center

The Joint Appropriations Committee of the South Dakota legislature holds their first meeting of the interim Wednesday in Pierre.
The Board of Regents will be in front of the committee, answering questions about changing the University Center in Sioux Falls to a community college.

Committee Member, Representative Jean Hunhoff of Yankton says they are still many questions..

Hunhoff says they don’t know yet what the financial impacts of the changes will be..

Hunhoff says the facility in Sioux Falls has seen many changes since it opened….

Officials with the Regents and USD told the Government Operations and Audit Committee that they felt it was with in their budget authority to make those changes.
