The Senate Transportation Committee listened to more debate about proposed changes to Highway 50 in Bon Homme County. The state Department of Transportation has started the public input process to change some four lane segments to three lanes, and modify some intersections.
Senator Stace Nelson of Fulton sponsored SR3 that expressed concern about the public involvement with the planning process…

Tabor Mayor Luverne Schieffer says they are not opposed to all the planned changes……

Transportation Department Secretary Darin Bergquist says that section of highway needs attention…..

The committee voted five to one to send the bill to the forty first legislative day, effectively killing it.
