Legal Tobacco Age May Soon Rise to 21 in Minnesota

Several communities in Minnesota have already passed local Tobacco 21 ordinances, and a bill that would raise the legal tobacco age statewide is making its way through the legislature. State Representative Laurie Halverson of Eagan says the makers of ecigs and other vaping products continue to prey on youth

Earlier this week, the CDC reported that from 2017-2018 in the U-S, there was a 1.3 million increase in teen tobacco users linked directly to e-cigarettes.
