The State of South Dakota is taking the National Park Service to court to force them to issue a permit for July 4th fireworks at Mt Rushmore.

Governor Kristi Noem says the permit denial gave her few options..

Noem says the state had agreements in place….

Noem says she didn’t get a clear reason for the denial..

The fireworks were held last July with President Trump in attendance.
