The rash of police officer killings across the country has all law enforcement agencies on alert.  Omaha Police Chief Todd Schmaderer says these are very difficult times.

Schmaderer says officer safety has to be in place in order for them to do their job.

Schmaderer says the situation in Omaha is much better than in other parts of the nation.
