South Dakota State’s Tagyn Larson was named the Summit League’s Women’s Basketball Athlete of the Week.
Larson averaged 20.5 points, 4 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game in the Jackrabbits’ pair of contests last week.
The senior led all scorers against both Marquette and Green Bay, turning in 22 and 19 points, respectively. Larson pulled down six rebounds at home against Marquette, while dishing four assists and going 4-of-5 from beyond the arc in the win over the Phoenix.
South Dakota State returns to action on Sunday at Omaha with tipoff set for 2 p.m.
