Keith Kube of Crofton is on the ballot and will challenge incumbent Tyson Larson of O’Neill for the District 40 Senate seat in the Nebraska Unicameral.

Larson, first elected in 2010 announced late last year he would run for re-election. Nebraska Senators are limited to two four year terms.

The primary is set for May 6.
