President Obama’s rejection today of the permit for the Keystone XL oil pipeline is a sigh of relief for Nebraska landowners fighting the project. Landowner’s Attorney Dave Domina says he’s pleased with the decision although they still have work to do in Nebraska in court battling a state law.
Domina says the key in the President rejecting the permit is that the project conceptually was never a good idea in the first place.
Trans Canada first sought approval for the Keystone XL pipeline in 2008.
