Lancers Sign Two Guards

Mount Marty College in Yankton has announced the signing of two guards that will join the Lancers this fall, Logan Fleming from Central Community College in Columbus, NE and Ben Rennie from Lake Region State College in Devils Lake, ND.

Fleming is a 6’ shooting guard who played the past two seasons for Central CC Head Coach Jerry Drymon. The Polk, NE native helped lead his team to a Region IX Division II Championship this past season. Fleming led his team in scoring averaging 19 points per game shooting 52% from the field, 43% from 3PT and 87% from the FT line.

Rennie also has signed with the Lancers after two seasons playing for Head Coach Jared Marshall at Lake Region State College. The 6’3 guard hails from Adelaide, Australia where he played at Adelaide High School and also played club ball with former Lancer forward Patrick Ciganovic. While at Lake Region, Rennie averaged 10.5 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists helping his team to a 20-11 record and an appearance in the region tournament.
