Mount Marty College (MMC) in Yankton announced the signing of Jailen Billings from Sioux City East High School.

Billings graduates this spring from Sioux City East HS and will arrive on campus this fall to join the Lancers.

The 5’11’’ guard will be a nice addition to the Lancer backcourt. A three time all-conference selection during his high school career, Billings averaged 13 points and 4.5 assists for the Sioux City East Black Raiders.

Under the direction of Head Coach Ras Vaderloo, the Black Raiders finished 23-3 on the way to a state tournament appearance and a 3rd place finish this past season. Billings is a career 1,000 point scorer, a conference leader in assists two times, a three time state tournament participant and also an off court recipient of the Tomorrow’s Leader Award.
