The new Governor met with reporters briefly after the swearing in of not only herself, but Lieutenant Governor Larry Rhoden and the state’s Constitutional officers. Noem knows come Monday its time to get to work….

Noem gives her first State of the State Address at noon on Tuesday to a joint session of the South Dakota Legislature. In addition to Noem and Rhoden being sworn in, Auditor Rich Sattgast, Treasurer Josh Haeder, Secretary of State Steve Barnett, Public Utilities Commissioner Kristie Feigen and Attorney General Jason Ravnsborg also officially began their terms.
