South Dakota Secretary of State Shantel Krebs got a head start on the duties of her office by being sworn in on Friday. She said she needed the extra time before the legislature starts on the 13th.
Krebs says besides the election duties of her office, there are a number of business responsibilities, including filing corporate papers, recording liens and other related functions.
