US State Department officials say its review of the Keystone XL oil pipeline application will continue. Trans Canada had requested that the review be suspended while they focused their efforts on getting route approval from the Nebraska Public Service Commission.

Keystone opponent, Jane Kleeb with Bold Nebraska, says the quick rejection surprised her. . .

Kleeb expects the State Department review to turn negative and President Obama to deny TransCanada’s request for a presidential permit. . .

Kleeb expects the president to reject Keystone ahead of the Global Climate Summit in Paris at the end of this month.
