With the election of Donald Trump to the Presidency, and republican control of Congress, the Keystone XL oil pipeline may again be on the agenda.
The line was stopped when President Obama refused a permit to allow the pipe to cross the US – Canadian border.
That proposed route of that line has been approved in South Dakota, and Public Utilities Commission Chairman Chris Nelson says they re-certified that route last year…..
Nelson says they will not need to hold hearings on that line again…
Nelson says one of the conditions they found in the re-certification was that the political situation could change…..
The proposed line ran into stiff opposition in Nebraska, where it was held up by legal action.
