The groundwork is still under way as Trans Canada waits for final approvals of its plans to build the Keystone XL crude oil pipeline.
The company wants to build the line from Canada, across the Dakotas and Nebraska on its way to the gulf coast.
Vice President of Keystone for Trans Canada, Corey Goulet says they have about ninety percent of the easements they need on the line in Nebraska. He says they are working on that final portion.
Goulet says they will file legal actions as needed.
Goulet says they know there are some opposed to the line in Nebraska on all accounts.
Trans Canada is still waiting on federal approval for the border crossing.
