The United States Senate is expected to take a “make or break vote” Thursday or Friday on the Republican Tax reform legislation. American Farm Bureau Tax Advisor Pat Wolff says both the Senate and House tax reform measures impact producer’s pocketbooks.
Both the Senate and House measures boost the exemption for small business expenses known as Section 179.
The Republicans are edging closer to the votes they need for passage, although it’s expected to be a razor thin margin. And President Trump is meeting with Senators today to enlist support for the legislation.
