The Yankton School District saw a bit of a jump in positive Covid-19 infections in the weekly report on Friday. There were seven positives at the high school, two at the middle school and 2 among the four elementary schools.
Superintendent Wayne Kindle says they expected worse following the Thanksgiving break….
Kindle says it has taken a lot of cooperation to keep schools open this far….
The school board imposed a face mask mandate in August. Kindle says he sees it working…
Schools will dismiss for the Christmas break next Tuesday.
