Veteran South Dakota lawmaker, Representative Jean Hunhoff of Yankton says it can take some time for a new Governor and legislators to forge a working relationship.
She says Governor Kristi Noem brought a different style to Pierre this year…
Hunhoff says the Governor was clear in her priorities….
Hunhoff says the legislature went along with most of what the Governor wanted, but the results won’t be clear until next year..
Hunhoff has served in the House and Senate since 2001.
