The investigation is underway into the bank robbery reported at Wells Fargo in downtown Yankton yesterday.
Yankton Police Chief Brian Paulsen says they got the call at 4:55PM that one person had entered the bank, demanded money and left an object on a counter.

Paulsen says it will be a joint investigation…..

Paulsen says the person in the bank was wearing a disguise….

Paulsen says they think the suspect left the area…..
The suspect got away with an undisclosed amount of money.

Paulsen says the individual left in what is believed to be a silver SUV, similar to a KIA Sorrento.
