The job force in central Minnesota is expected to grow faster than any other region of the state. State job analyst Luke Greiner says the central region of the state is projected to add over 23,000 new jobs in the next seven years. He says a lot of that growth will happen in the corridor between St. Cloud and the Twin Cities.

It’s projected central Minnesota will see a job growth rate increase of 7.7 percent, southeastern Minnesota 4.5 percent and the Twin Cities 4.4 percent. The slowest job growth will be in southwest region of the state with only a one percent increase.
