South Dakota State kicks off the second half of the Missouri Valley Football Conference schedule Saturday afternoon with a road trip to Missouri State.

Kickoff is set for 2 p.m. at Plaster Stadium in Springfield, Missouri. The game will be heard on 570 WNAX.

The Jackrabbits, ranked fourth in this week’s STATS FCS media poll and fifth by the Football Championship Subdivision coaches, are coming off their first league loss of the season — a 23-16 setback at the hands of top-ranked North Dakota State. SDSU is 6-2 overall and 3-1 in the MVFC.

Missouri State enters Saturday’s game with a 1-6 overall record, including a 1-3 mark in the MVFC. The Bears will be playing their third highly ranked opponent in a row after dropping games at North Dakota State (22-0) and at home to Northern Iowa (29-6) the last two weeks.
