South Dakota State swimmers and divers swept the weekly awards in their sport from the Summit League.
For the first time in her career as a Jackrabbit, Emily Moore earned The Summit League Women’s Diver of the Week, announced Tuesday by the conference office. The junior finished second in both the 1- and 3-meter dive against South Dakota on Oct. 29. She finished behind Greysen Hertting in both events with scores of 235.95 in the 1-meter and 238.88 in the 3-meter.
Joseph Weber earned his second The Summit League Diver of the Week award. The sophomore swept the men’s 1-meter dive with a score of 286.43 on Oct. 29 when the Jackrabbits hosted South Dakota. He finished fifth in the 3-meter dive with a score of 254.10.
After breaking a two records, Kristin Erf was named The Summit League Swimmer of the Week, announced Tuesday by the league office. It is Erf’s first Swimmer of the Week honor. Erf broke a pool record in the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:04.12 on Oct. 29 in the meet against South Dakota. The junior set a school and pool record in the 100 IM with a time of 59.68.
