South Dakota State swept a pair of Summit League games Thursday against North Dakota State with both the Jackrabbit men’s and women’s basketball teams scoring wins.

Mike Daum scored his 2,000th career point and SDSU picked up its 20th win of the season, taking down NDSU 82-63 at Frost Arena.

SDSU (20-6, 8-1) completed the regular sweep of its northern rivals with the victory. Daum posted his fifth consecutive double-double and led the team with 31 points and 13 boards over 32 minutes.

The South Dakota State women’s basketball team used six players scoring in double figures to power its way to an 85-64 win over North Dakota State in Fargo.

Ellie Thompson scored a game-high 17 points to the Jackrabbits, now 18-5, 7-1. Madison Guebert scored 14 points while Alexis Alexander tallied 13 points.
