South Dakota State’s loss to Northern Iowa Saturday has cost the Jacks a spot in the top ten in both FCS national football polls.
SDSU slips to #13 in the FCS Coaches Poll and #14 in the STATS FCS Ratings.
Northern Iowa’s 10-7 win over SDSU has pushed the Panthers back up to #18 in STATS and #21 in the Coaches poll.
Illinois State remains the highest rated Missouri Valley Football Conference team, sitting third in both polls. Other rated MVFC squads include North Dakota State, Indiana State, Western Illinois and Youngstown State.
The University of South Dakota received votes in both polls outside of the top 25.
Coastal Carolina tops the Coaches ratings while Jacksonville State leads the STATS poll..
