.SDSU enters the season needing 11 wins to become the second women’s program at State to reach the 900-win mark.

The women’s basketball team defeated Oral Roberts Feb. 11, 2016, for its 900th victory.

South Dakota State opens the season when it travels to Green Bay, Wisconsin, for the Green Bay Tournament Aug. 26-27. The Jacks meet the Phoenix in their season opener and play Stephen F. Austin and Eastern Illinois.

SDSU continues its seven-match road trip with a match at Drake Aug. 30.

The Jackrabbits are at the North Dakota State Tournament Sept. 2-3. They meet Texas Tech and Northern Illinois Sept. 2 and then play UTEP Sept. 3.
