The South Dakota State University football team will conclude spring practice Saturday with the annual Jackrabbit Spring Game.

Start time is noon at the Sanford-Jackrabbit Athletic Complex. The first 200 fans will receive a 2015 schedule poster. No admission will be charged.

The game will be broadcast on 570 WNAX.

The game will consist of four 25-minute quarters (running clock), with the offense taking on the defense through a points system that rewards big plays on both sides of the ball.

Fans attending Saturday’s Jackrabbit Spring Game, as well as SDSU softball games against Fort Wayne, should take note that North Campus Drive will be blocked off for another campus event from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday. Fans should access the Sanford-Jackrabbit Athletic Complex from the north via the U.S. Highway 14 Bypass, and enter the facility at the northwest entrance.

The Jackrabbits, led by head coach John Stiegelmeier, finished the 2014 season with a 9-5 overall record and made their third consecutive appearance in the Football Championship Subdivision playoffs. SDSU is scheduled to open the 2015 regular season Sept. 5 at Kansas.
