The South Dakota State University football team begins the second half of the Missouri Valley Football Conference season Saturday afternoon by traveling to Western Illinois for a key matchup between nationally ranked teams.
Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. at Hanson Field in Macomb, Illinois. The game will heard on 570 WNAX.
Both squads enter Saturday’s contest with 5-2 overall records and 2-2 marks in the MVFC.
The Jackrabbits, ranked in a tie for eighth place in the FCS Coaches’ Poll and 11th in the STATS FCS media survey, posted a 62-30 road win at Missouri State last week, while No. 12/14 Western Illinois dropped a 24-12 decision at second-ranked North Dakota State on Oct. 21.
