The South Dakota State University football team travels Saturday to Northern Iowa in a key Missouri Valley Football Conference matchup between a pair of nationally ranked squads.
Kickoff is slated for 4 p.m. at the UNI-Dome in Cedar Falls, Iowa. The game is scheduled to be televised locally on Midco Sports Network, with radio coverage along the Jackrabbit Sports Network.
SDSU enters Saturday’s contest with a 4-2 overall record, including a 1-1 mark in league play following a 32-28, come-from-behind home victory over Missouri State on Oct. 11. The Jackrabbits are ranked 16th by the FCS Coaches and 18th in the Sports Network media poll.
UNI, meanwhile, also picked up its first MVFC win of the season last weekend, recording a 27-16 road victory over South Dakota. The Panthers, who are ranked 20th by The Sports Network and 21st by the FCS Coaches, come into their homecoming game with a 3-3 overall record and 1-1 mark in league play. Two of UNI’s losses have been to Football Bowl Subdivision teams — at Iowa and at Hawaii.
