South Dakota State moved up the FCS poll ladder this week after their victory Saturday over Missouri State.
SDSU moved up to #11 in the STATS FCS ratings and #12 in the FCS Coaches Poll.
Four MVFC teams are ranked this week, led by North Dakota State, No. 4 in both polls.
Youngstown State and Western Illinois remained in the top 25 though losing ground after weekend losses.
Unbeaten Sam Houston State is the top rated team in both polls.
The MVFC is the top-rated FCS conference, according to the Sagarin rankings. Notably, the league ranks ahead of the FBS Sun Belt, Conference USA (West and East Divisions), the MAC (East Division) and the Mountain West (West Division). Four MVFC schools are in the Top 7 in the FCS; and six are among the Top 18 FCS schools ranked in Sagarin.
