South Dakota State had 11 players find the score column as the Jackrabbits cruised to a 123-61 men’s basketball exhibition victory over Concordia-St. Paul on Wednesday in Frost Arena.
The Jackrabbits and Golden Bears were tied at 5-5 at the 17 minute, 18 second mark in the first half following an Antwan Kimmons layup for Concordia-St. Paul. The rest of the first half was all SDSU as the Jacks outscored the visitors 48-18 to close out the opening half.
SDSU outshot Concordia-St. Paul 61-29% from the field over the course of the first 20 minutes of action.
The Jacks continued their torrid pace shooting in the second half. They shot over 69%, including a 75% clip from deep, while turning the ball over just three times en route to the final margin in front of 1,903 fans.
Zeke Mayo led SDSU with 26 points while he was joined by five other double-digit scorers. William Kyle III and Alex Arians each had seven rebounds apiece and four Jackrabbits tied with a team-high four assists.
