South Dakota State’s win over Illinois State has boosted the Jacks to the number five ratings in both the FCS Coaches and STATS FCS football polls.

Illinois State slipped from second to sixth in both ratings. North Dakota State regained the number two spot in STATS and third in the Coaches poll.

Northern Iowa and Youngstown State are also Missouri Valley Football Conference teams in the top 25 of both ratings.

South Dakota, which hosts SDSU this weekend, received votes in both polls.

Jacksonville State continues to lead both of the polls.
